What We Offer

Pregnancy & Birth Prep

Prepare your body for the most athletic event of your life. As both a Licensed PT and Certified Birth Doula, I help you navigate the physical shifts of pregnancy while optimizing pelvic opening and labor positioning. We focus on evidence-based techniques to reduce pregnancy-related pelvic pain, prepare the pelvic floor for pushing, and build the foundational strength needed for an empowered birth experience in Mercer County.

Postpartum Core Recovery

Reclaim your strength with a specialized plan designed for the fourth trimester and beyond. I specialize in Postpartum Core Rehabilitation, specifically addressing Diastasis Recti (DRA) and functional core stability. Whether you are healing from a C-Section scar, managing back pain, or simply looking to safely return to the gym, we focus on progressive loading to help you feel stable and strong in your new body.

Pelvic Health & Wellness

Don’t let 'common' symptoms become your 'normal.' Our Pelvic Health services address the root cause of leaking (incontinence), pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic pain. By improving pressure management and pelvic floor coordination, I help you stop the 'squeeze and hope' method and get back to running, jumping, and chasing your toddlers without a second thought about your pelvic floor.

What others are saying

"Dr. Veeda is so knowledgeable and comfortable to be around. "

She was able to see me quickly as I was experiencing intense discomfort postpartum and provided me with an easy workout plan to build back muscle and mobility. I highly recommend her to assist with any pelvic floor concerns!

"I was immediately impressed by her warmth and knowledge."

I started working with Veeda around 6ish weeks postpartum, before then I was checking out her content online. I was immediately impressed by her warmth and knowledge. She was encouraging, non judgmental and provided so much insight on why I was experiencing certain physical discomfort (low back pain). She performed an in depth analysis of my movements and posture and built a personalized program from there. She was very understanding of my busy schedule and really helped set some of my postpartum anxieties at ease. The exercises were accessible yet challenging and she provided modifications for my level. I would happily recommend her to any new or seasoned mom!

"Dr. Veeda is so knowledgeable and comfortable to be around. "

I have been working with Dr. Veeda Ahmad since I was about 8 weeks postpartum. My postpartum recovery has been so much better because of her support, knowledge, warmth and skill. This is my second birth and I didn't work with a Pelvic Floor Therapist the first time around and feel like I missed out on so much support by not. Every postpartum mom could use the care and support Veeda provides. I feel like this time around I have less back pain and other issues because of Veeda's support, what she has taught me, as well as the manual techniques she has used. Any issues such as pain that have come up, she has addressed and they are resolved prior to the end of her session. I have learned a lot about my body from her and techniques that are not only serving me postpartum but for life. I am extremely grateful to be under her care/support. Not only is she a wonderful Pelvic Floor Therapist, she is also so kind, friendly and personable. My 5 year old son is usually around for appointments and she is so great with him and allows him to participate when possible-he literally loves when I have my appointments because he gets to see her. I highly recommend working with Dr. Ahmed she is the absolute best and highly skilled at what she does!!!

"Highly recommend this"

Working with Veeda changed my life and postpartum journey in more ways than one. She was such a positive and powerful voice for me that gave me the knowledge and the courage to believe that I can be the strong mom I envisioned myself to be. She helped me even down to my meal planning, nutrition, and just mom to mom advice. Veeda's program drastically reduced my leaking and helped strengthen my pelvic floor the proper way. This is a very special program that all postpartum moms deserve. Veeda cares and it really shows when you work with her. I will forever remember her kindness and support. ☺️

"As now a mother of 2 (toddler and new born), having her be able to come to my house for sessions has made my recovery process that much better."

Dr. Veeda was (and currently still is) super helpful during my pregnancy & postpartum recovery. She’s so knowledgeable with an ever changing mother’s body during those times. Scheduling is super easy & more comfortable being able to be at home in case my newborn needs me. Sessions are helpful for addressing immediate concerns as well as educational to support anything that may happen in between sessions. I would definitely recommend Dr. Veeda to any prenatal/postpartum mom who’s looking for extra support with perinatal pains, pelvic floor issues, etc.! - Local Mercer County Mom (Google Review)

"Shoveled heavy wet snow for 2.5 hours without pain"

We had a blizzard with a total of 24 inches of snow and I shoveled heavy wet snow for 2.5 hours without pain.

Dr. Veeda truly works to learn the root of the problem.

Dr. Veeda has been a breath of fresh air! I'm so grateful for her knowledge and care. I've worked with a variety of physical therapists. I have never received such personalized and thoughtful care. Dr. Veeda truly works to learn the root of the problem. She also aims to understand how I take in this information -- so she gives me more cues to help me remember how to do the exercises independently. She also remembers information about me and follows up in subsequent sessions! I'm so grateful she is part of my health care team and highly recommend her!

You're In The Best Hands

Dr. Veeda Ahmad, PT, DPT

Hi, I’m Dr. Veeda Ahmad — a Doctor of Physical Therapy, specialized Pelvic Floor PT, and Certified Birth Doula serving families in Central New Jersey. I’m also a mom of two busy toddlers, so I intimately understand the physical and emotional demands of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery.

Motherhood reshaped not only my body but my perspective on healing. I know firsthand the desire to return to movement safely — whether that’s lifting your baby without back pain, rebuilding your core after Diastasis Recti, or training for a half marathon. My own journey back to running was fueled by the same intentional, evidence-based pelvic floor rehabilitation that I provide to my patients.

Specialized In-Home Care for Mercer County Moms

Do I need a doctor’s referral for Pelvic Floor PT in New Jersey?

No. New Jersey is a "Direct Access" state for physical therapy. This means you can schedule your evaluation and begin treatment with Fit2Push immediately without waiting for a script or referral from your OBGYN, Midwife, or Primary Care Physician. We believe in fast-tracking your recovery so you can get back to your life sooner.

What is "Concierge" Physical Therapy and how does it work?

Concierge PT means I bring the highest level of clinical care directly to your home in Mercer County. You don’t have to worry about childcare, traffic, or sitting in a waiting room. Every session is a full 60 minutes of 1-on-1 care with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, allowing us to focus entirely on your specific goals in the environment where you move the most.

How soon after birth can I start my postpartum recovery?

You can actually begin gentle core reconnection and diaphragmatic breathing day one! While we typically wait until 6 weeks postpartum for an internal pelvic floor assessment, we can address C-section scar mobility, postural pain, and safe movement strategies much earlier. My goal is to bridge the gap between birth and your 6-week checkup.

Can Pelvic Floor PT help with leaking when I run or jump?

Absolutely. While leaking (urinary incontinence) is common after childbirth, it is not "normal" and you don't have to live with it. At Fit2Push, we look beyond just "kegels." We evaluate your pressure management and core coordination to help you return to high-impact activities like running and CrossFit without symptoms.

What areas of Central NJ do you serve for in-home visits?

Fit2Push provides concierge physical therapy and doula services throughout Mercer County, including Ewing, Princeton, Hopewell, Lawrenceville, and Pennington. If you are located outside of these areas, we also offer comprehensive Virtual/Telehealth support to ensure every mom has access to expert pelvic health support.
